no dbus?

I'm still using the Quartz. I wasn't having the dbus problems until I
restarted my computer after the reinstall. I finally think I've dug
up all the pieces.

When you install dbus you get a message to execute two commands:

sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-
system.plist
sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-
session.plist

Do that.

That will stop
> here is a repeated error telling me to be sure org.freedesktop.dbus-
> session.plist is loaded.

Now if you still get a maze of complaints, add

export
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS="launchd:env=DBUS_LAUNCHD_SESSION_BUS_SOCKET"

to your .profile (per https://trac.macports.org/ticket/17950?
replyto=86#comment)

Now gnucash should launch without giving you a lot of guff. For me,
even without this gnucash would run but it was awfully slow.
