recent invoice close crashes 2.2.6 -- would building from latest source fix that?

I hate replying to my own emails, but more than that I hate misleading 
people.  There is a bug filed, as it happens, and it's due to a specific 
patch.  No indication as to when it will get bypassed by 2.2.9 - that's 
not even in Experimental yet.

Bugging the maintainer may or may not work - he seems very aware of the 
problem, but since Debian just came out of a freeze, getting packages 
into unstable is a dicey business.  If we all asked nicely, he might 
move 2.2.9 ahead,
but it may not depend on him.
