In 2.3.4, I worked to get all of the sql table changes in. The schema is now, basically, frozen except for really important changes.
In about 2 weeks, I want to release 2.3.5. This will be the release at which strings will be frozen so that translation work can be done.
After that, I think I can release every 2 weeks until we get to 2.4.0. I've been giving bugs which are in new functionality a target of 2.3.X so that they will be fixed in 2.4.0. At this point, I don't think there will be new enhancements or bug fixes unless 1) they are in new functionality or 2) they are otherwise critical.
I haven't seen much feedback on the gtkhtml->webkit change except for 1 bug (an image doesn't appear on the fancy invoice in windows). If you are having any problems with webkit, please log them on bugzilla. Unless there is a big jump in the number of bugs, I plan to change the default report display engine from gtkhtml to webkit in 2.3.5. Since webkit supports CSS, I also plan to rename the stylesheets so that the current "Default-CSS" becauses "Default" (I'll probably get rid of the old "Default") to provide better support for fonts in reports.
As always, feedback is welcome. I will update the release schedule page on the wiki soon.
Phil
