Help needed

I have just installed Gnucash. As a new user I need help but when I click help it responds that help has not been installed. 

I am new to the MAC and hope I installed it correctly. I downloaded 2.2.9.4 and a window with 4 items in it appeared  - gnucash.app,  Gnucash readme.rtf, Licence.txt and sources.txt. I clicked on the app file and Gnucash opened, but no help is available.
Please help.
