GnuCash for Windows formatting bug?

The issue showed up as soon as I started putting in entries, i.e.
before I started even looking at changing any defaults. I may have
changed a few since then, but it hasn't changed the behavior.
Your comment about a broken Locale is actually the first thing that
jumped to my mind, but I am not certain where to look for that (it's
been a long time since I was familiar enough with Windows - or any
other system for that matter - to know where to look for that). But
if it were a Locale issue, I would expect it to show up elsewhere, and
I haven't noticed it, but that doesn't mean it's not there.
And to answer Maf's questions, yes I have checked the decimal
places and it's set to two (though the positive numbers look like
there are 4), and yes this shows up anywhere that a positive number is
displayed.
Thanks,
sjb.
