I am running 2.2.6 Gnucash on a desktop computer.(ubuntu 8.10)
As a precaution, I would like to run gnucash on my laptop and use the same
accounts. (laptop is also ubuntu 8.10)
I backed up the .gnucash from my home directory and copied to my laptop.
I was hoping to open the accounts file and I would have the current
accounts, up to date etc. But that is not what happened.

Can anyone suggest the steps required to move the gnucash from one computer
to another? What are all of the files that need to be shifted? Are there
some configuration files that need to be backed up etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Marc
