gnucash in german and spanish

Thanks but I am not sure I understand
I use the tcsh shell:
 env gives me
LANG=en_US.UTF-8

So I presume I should use 
setenv ?


   >  env LANG=de gnucash

That I am supposed to use in the command line?
Well it does not work, gnucash starts with english!

I can't find any way in gnucash to chose a language, sort of
inconvenient.
