Eek - lost all my data

Thanks for your help - but I'm afraid that I'm fairly computer illiterate so
don't understand your suggestion! I have uninstalled gnucash, and
reinstalled it to run as xp, and re-done the spadework. It seems fine now -
but I am also heavily backed up !
