imported quicken 2007, strange large window behavior

Thanks for your response. Yes, my resolution is 1024X768. My laptop is
15". The window cannot be shrunken to fit on the screen: it extends
horizontally off the screen. Clicking anywhere toggles the screen
leftward and rightward.

Renaming did not fix.
