Please Help!!!! Cannot open my gnucash file!

Alright. Now it looks like perhaps the data file got corrupted or something?
If I open JPandRobyn (my data file) with Firefox, I get:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: file:///home/jp/Documents/gnucash/JPandRobyn
Line Number 7, Column 1:

If I open JPandRobyn is Screem, I can see the 1st 6 lines. The 7th appears
blank, and there's nothing after the 1st 6...

Is there any way I can repair this file? Of course I was a moron and I don't
think I have any aged backups anywhere...
