Unbalanced balance sheet, "Trading Gains", #537476

I must not have, because I have no idea what that means.

What I do know is that I've been using GnuCash to track my investments for a
while and my Balance Sheet report has always balanced as long as I have "Compute
unrealized gains and losses" selected.  With the changes introduced for bug
#537476, my Balance Sheet no longer balances, regardless of whether or not that
option is selected.

Is there something else that I should be doing to make this work?
