How did the portable gnucash get onto the hard drive, and where did you put it? I got mine there by first installing it onto a pen-drive, and then copying the pen-drive's \PortableApps\gnucash directory into c:\Program Files. I'm not sure what happens if you do the PortableApps install direct to the disk ... Colin
