I downloaded and put it in my Documents folder, and it runs happily from

I've been running the portable version for some time now. Recently I
installed and tried out 2.3.5 but that failed to run. I didn't really
explore further and, with 2.3.5 still installed, tried running my
portable version. That's when it threw the error about requesting
Windows to terminate it. I uninstalled 2.3.5 and tried it again, and it
ran fine (slow startup as usual though).
