just a question !

Hello you there !
 
First of all..my compliments ! great program ! 
 
I got a question which I cant find in the FAQs...what I did ?...I made
new "profile" and stored everything in a map which i called
..""administration 2009"'....
 
After an fresh new OS install I replaced "'adminstration 2009"" again
and  want to use that map again....until now I cant find A way to let
that happen ?..is there a way ? or am i really f#cked !
 
I would be very gratefull if your help results in a working Gnucash
again!! 

My Os is Ubuntu Jaunty !
