Placeholder Accounts report 0 balances, why?

PS --- I would consider that (making sticky) a low priority change. The 
reality is that you can only usefully save time/trouble with things that 
are done frequently and the reports would not fall into that category. 
Even though the books I keep are "VERY low volume" I am still entering 
transactions more than an order of magnitude more frequently than 
running reports. We need to ask developers to FIRST deal with any issues 
affecting high volume activities.Saving a couple seconds per transaction 
a much bigger "bang for the buck" than saving a minute of reports run 
only once per quarter, etc.

    There is only one organization for which I report where this would 
be useful, but in the case of THAT organization the volume of activity 
is so low (under 20/year?) I didn't even bother putting books up under 
GnuCash!
