As I said, you need to load the C pieces manually using the gnc modules.
If you don't understand what I mean you can look at how gnucash 1.6 did
it, as that was when GnuCash was just a guile script and loaded all the
C code from guile.  I think it's still possible to load most of the
support functionality from guile using the gnc-module-load functions.

Note that this hasn't been tested in a long time.

We also used to have a --shell option (which was removed prior to 2.0)
that dropped you into a guile shell after gnucash started.  You could
also look into re-adding that support.
