Qif import from bank creates multiple duplicates

OFX transactions include a unique transaction ID, so software can 
automatically eliminate duplicate imported transactions. QIF does not 
have any provision for a transaction identifier. Many banks send the 
last 30 days of transactions every time you click the button to download 
transactions, including any duplicates within the moving 30 day window.

So really it isn't you or the bank, it's QIF.
