Gnucash is weak in this area. There will be some improvements coming in 2.4.

Subject: How to get total budgeted expenses?

I have been using GnuCash for a month to track my income and expenses. I
have also created a budget and I would like to just display a summary of my
budgeted income minus my budgeted expenses. However, the budget report
(Report / Income and Expenses / Budget Report) does not show the total
budgeted expenses (only the total actual expenses), so I end up summing the
budgeted expenses on a calculator or entering them into a spreadsheet. Is
there something I'm missing or is GnuCash just weak in this area?

Thanks.
