Might I suggest that the user not use an external zip/unzip file? Just
change your General preferences to not compress the file in the first place.
The next save will be an uncompressed .xac file, which you can manipulate
and reopen without problems. If, when you are satisfied with your changes,
you want to save your data file in a compressed format, just change your
General preferences back.
