Can't find the transaction pop-up

OK, got it.  The help that comes with gnucash says to create the account
and then to click on some things to set the opening balance.  I
completely missed that tab on the account creation and spent all my
effort trying to make the documentation match functionality.  That
section of documentation should probably be updated (4.2.1 Simple
Transaction).
