"Business -> Pay Invoice" is equal to "Process Payment"?

Hello.

Short question:

    what is the use of "Pay Invoice" menu item that appears in
    "Business" menu when you are editing an invoice of a customer? Is it
    the same as if I use "Business | Customers | Process Payment" and
    locate the invoice number?


Long question with background information.

I trained my assistant to use GnuCash to manage invoices, by following
the manual.Basically I simply translated the text from English orally.

The method to process a payment made by customer to our previous invoice
is mentioned here:

It is done by

"Business | Customers | Process Payment -> find the invoice -> fill a form"

One year later I realized she actually always use

"Business | Customers | Find Invoices -> find & open the invoice -> Business | Pay invoice -> fill a form"


I hope by doing so no damage has been done yet. It might be obvious to
an experienced user but I am a bad user wishing to be prudent by asking
more questions.
