I am on Win7-64bit here as well. The Perl version I am using is
"ActivePerl 5.10.1 Build 1007 (64-bit)" and I don't remember seeing the
DateManip problem - maybe it was a temporary server issue with your ISP?
- just guessing, no idea really. However, the 5.8 specification for
GnuCash 2.2.9 is a minimum requirement - it was the latest version when
2.2.9 was released. AFAIK, online price retrieval works fine with later
versions as well. 5.10 was the latest available when I setup this new
desktop a few months ago. What I mean is, no need to wait, go ahead and
install the latest version.
