Saving data before upgrading to 2.4.0

My thanks to everyone who helped me here. I'm fairly new to Windows so
am not as comfortable with doing things in it.
The upgrade went well. Yes, my previous version was 2.2.9, and the
installer took care of unstalling it for me. My previous data files were
left intact, and they work perfectly with 2.4.0. Being a firm believer
in Murphy, I copied my C:\Users\bob\Documents\gnucash folder to an
external disk before doing the upgrade.
