Clue: I have another Arch system, also up-to-date, that does not have
this problem (with the same personal Gnucash file). Same packages
installed on both with a few additional on the problem system. I'm
guessing this is an Arch rolling-release-version-skew problem, though
at this point I don't *know* that. Maybe I need a more conservative
Linux distribution.
