Want to use GnuCash in Spanish

Derek, thank you for your reply.
My use of 2.2.0 is due to a bug I (and apparently others too) have with
some of the later versions of Gnucash, including 2.2.9.... Basically, when
I open gnucash, the DOS command prompt window appears with the following
message:
chcp 1252
And then nothing else happens... ever! You can see the original bug report
and other comments (along with mine) in the page for "Bug 497686 - Hands at
startup with "chcp 1252" in DOS window":
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497686
So, I am working with 2.2.0 out of necessity.
That being said, and since I cannot wait for the above bug to be fixed
before continuing my use of Gnucash, I wonder whether there is a way of
having version 2.2.0 in Spanish.
I did try the suggestions in FAQ with version 2.2.0 and they didn't work.
Thanks again,
Julio.
