The Fink project (http://www.finkproject.org/) maintains an older version (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/fink/Fink-0.6.4-Installer.dmg?download) which supports OSX 10.2.  You may be able to use the gnucash (not gnucash2) package with that version.
