Crash of 2.2.9 after install of 2.3.9

Wonder if you made a copy of the old one before you opened it in the new one?
I may be stating the obvious, but
The 2.3.9 uses some different database systems, so it probably saved in some
sql  format, a different database altogether from the XML file format in
2.2.9 if I understand correctly. It looks like it can use both and maybe you
can save it as XML database, then you should be able to reopen in 2.2.9

I Tried to test this theory, but I cant open Gnucash 2.3.9. It crashes
before the file finishes opening.
