Reconciliation problem

I did, and I could not find one, nor any number of several entries which
may equal that amount.  As I mentioned in my first post, I was able to
reconcile the account manually.  When I finished de-reconciling all the
entries I was left with a different starting amount, $36.77.  I could
not find that amount anywhere either.

These amounts are clearly extraneous amounts which crept into the
process I know not how.  There should be an easy way for the user to
clear them out.
