Any way to "check all" while reconciling?

I do use this technique sometimes, but it's not perfect. When I
reconcile including subaccounts, sometimes I have transactions between
the subaccounts. So the first time I pass over the transaction holding
down space, it becomes checked, but then the next time, it becomes
unchecked because the first time checked both sides of the transaction.
So I then have to go back through the list and find those instances
manually that are unchecked.
