Using 2.2.9 vs. 2.3.x

Yes.  Ideally when you uninstall 2.2.9 and install 2.3.x (well, I'd
recommend you wait for 2.4.0), when you run the application your data
file will just open automagically.  Worst case, you just use File ->
Open
