GnuCrash crash reports.

If you can remember what exactly you did immediately before the crashes, that would be a very useful clue. Beyond that, I can only tell you that the logs you sent suggest that gnucash tried to use a string of characters that wasn't where gnucash thought it was. I think that I might be able to figure it out from the logs, but if I had a series of actions to try that would make it crash, then I can more easily find the problem code.

I think that the problem was in Gtk+, in an interface that I just implemented. 2.3.14 no longer crashes this way for me. It doesn't copy strings out of the About box (but they're labels and not supposed to be copyable), but it doesn't crash.

Try it out and let me know if it works for you, too.
