Unable to open gnucash

Hi,

sorry to bother.
I have been using gnucash for two years. I tried to harmonize my
personal and the small business accounts, got confused and stopped using
it for last few months. 
Now I am trying to open GC but it doesn't open. All it says is that 

ERROR: In procedure primitive-load-path:
ERROR: Unable to find file "slib/init/guile.init" in load path

What should I do?
