GnuCash file not viewable

I added to the file the .zip extension and now I can uncompress it.

But I find the SQLite storage option in 2.3.x really amazing. I was almost
to change to KMyMoney because of that.

Is it safe to work with those unstable versions? I cannot wait for a 2.4
stable version.
