upgrade to 2.2.9 with multi currency is not good

hi,

i have used 2.2.7 for a long time, but as 2.2.7 had issues with HUF and 
fractions, i have upgraded to latest production version 2.2.9.
Since then my EUR - HUF transaction get confused. It is really a pain. I 
cannot find how way how to enter - even if i need to retype the whole 
lot. Currently there is no way to fix trasnfer to one account to other 
by handling a correct exchange rate. (yes, i am typing it, one-by-one to 
have the one)
I feel that part of the application interface is simply confusing, not 
clear, no way to track the applied rate.
