Totalizing Debits, Credits and Balance

Hello all.

Is it possible to somehow use any of the existing reports to show for lets
say, income, or assets, the total debits, total credits and balance for a
given period of time but remember, totalized (not that long transaction
report, dont recall the name right now, that is no good since it wont
totalize credits or debits, just balance).
The piecharts are no good also since they show only the balance.
