Problem - This account register is read-only

Accounts like that can be used as "generic" accounts: so you might have  
Liabilities:Credit Cards as a place holder, then a Visa card, an Amex  
card, etc., below that. You wouldn't want to post transactions to the  
Credit Cards account, only to the particular card accounts.
