Totals only transaction report

Hello
I have a similar request to Andy Lavarre, but I'd like to include some  
selected asset and liability accounts. The only way I've found so far  
is a complete transaction report. The account summary is the balance  
at a specific date but what I want is the total of transactions  
between two dates.

What I want to create is a single report for my New Zealand GST. I  
need total sales including GST collected, and total expenses including  
asset purchases and GST paid but excluding wages and salaries. I have  
separate sub accounts within a GST liability account for GST on  
purchases and GST on sales.

All suggestions welcome.
