Credit Card Transaction and Income and Expense Report

  The only place that I have been able to find for selecting the 
accounting period is in Preferences. However, changing the accounting 
period does not seem to work for me.  No matter what I select, the 
budget report always display October as the beginning  month in the 
report.  Any suggestions?
