how can I run longitudinal reports? i.e. accounts v time

That would be great! The flexibility of the current report/chart system 
is wonderful, having something similar for time based data would be superb.

Nice one! My sig is, I'm afraid, purely a commercial message at the moment.

I'm a total newbie at accounting & gnucash, but so far I'm really 
impressed. It's less challenging than I feared, and will allow me to 
quickly do all kinds of analysis that I could never do via text files, 
or even exel. Yeah, I know, I was in the Stone Age :)
