In big need of help!

Using GnuCash 2.2.9 and running Vista.

Unable to import bank statements into register in any format.

Unable to print out reports.

Was able to do these operations successfully in August and September but not
since.  Have been through the user groups, etc. - no help found.  Would
greatly appreciate concise feedback that will help me resolve this issue.
This will be my 4th request. - Peter
