Hi,

I have GnuCash 2.4 with a SQL database. I'm not having any success with the
"counter formatting" (File->Properties->Counters tab)

Let's say I want my new employees numbers to be 6 characters in length,
"EMP" + 3 digits. I figured I would need to enter a string like this:-
EMP%03d (where the digits would come from the next available)

I've tried all kinds of things, with quotes, without, and yet all I seem to
get is the default next available 6 digits. Can anyone help?
