setting up accounts

Glenn,

I am providing links to the Help files and the concepts guide for Gnucash.
They are going to provide you with the closest thing to a step by step
instructions for how to set up the program, as you will find.  There is not
a specific set of instructions for setting up the program because it is
customizable depending on the needs of the user.  These documents will give
you the basis for customizing the list of accounts to meet your needs.
