sales tax table

Hi again all,

since expanding my tax accounts to separate received and owed tax
amounts and capital/non-capital, I naturally added more tax tables to
the 'Business>Sales Tax Tables' option. i.e. GST-capital and GST
non-capital so when doing a bill I can select the appropriate tax table.

I was then going to re-name the generic table 'GST' to 'GST-received'
and just use it as the tax table for invoices (incoming). I could edit
the settings OK to redirect to the new liabilities sub-account, but I
cannot change its name. I can live with this, but is there a reason why
the name of a tax table cannot be changed (e.g. no internal ability to
update tax-table names on posted bills?) or is it a facility that just
hasn't been developed?

PS I played with an old gnucash file to see what deleting the existing
table might do... as I expected it might cause dramas... I got a message
that I couldn't delete it because it was in use. Was gratifying to see
that safety measure in place :-)

Regards,

Shane.
