remove specific split line

Sure. Looking at your  screen shot, the insertion point is in the blank line
that is shown in every split transaction as a placeholder for the next split
(if any) you might enter. Unless you enter something in it, it does not have
any effect on what is saved to the database. It is a feature of the GUI.
