I had so much difficulty with ATO and a certificate renewal that I
decided to revert to paper returns and sending a paper cheque to them.
They can go for whatever format they like - they couldn't co-operate
with me despite a direct Ministerial directive so I have decided to
have no electronic business with them. My accountant suggested that
the ATO managed much better with paper anyway.
