Yes, there are the full pipermail archives going back to something like
1998 or thereabouts.  So you can certainly SEE the history.  Searching
it, however, might be a bit more challenging.

I suspect it's worse..  We really need to fix the search capabilities.
I'd love to switch it out to a dedicated google search but I'm not sure
how to wrap that into our framing.

Namazu seemed like an interesting concept but I don't think it's worked
out well.  (Either that or I don't have it set up right)
