GnuCash Mac OS X issues: languages, splash screen

Please do file a bug on the language-list problem, and thanks for diagnosing it so well.

The rest is an enhancement request. You can write one up in bugzilla, but I'm not going to promise that it won't get cancelled in a few months because I haven't made time to do anything about it. Including a patch would certainly improve the odds in  your favor. ;-)
