Thank you. I removed GC from the control panel and got the msg that it
had been succesfully removed. I then tried to install 2.4.7 and got
the following messages:
C:\Program Files\gnucash\etc\gconf.xml.defaults\%gconf-tree-ast-xml
An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory.
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another program.
Abort, Retry, Ignore
I aborted, rebooted XP and tried again. This time I got the following msg:
C:\Program Files\gnucash\lib\aqbanking\plugins\29\provider\aqhbci.dll.a
(unsure of last letter)
An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory.
Moe File Failed: Code 32
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
Abort, Retry, Ignore
This time I hit 'retry' and got: C:\Program Files\gnucash\lib\gwenhyw
far\plugins\47\dbio\csu.la
and the same text as above. I hit 'abort' and gave up. Now I have not
GC at all.
