Thank you.  This was exactly the information I was missing: the URL
which covers the London Stock Exchange and where to look up the stocks
listed on it.

1. Use Yahoo Europe as "quote source".
2. Use the "symbol" shown when you look up the security (by name) on 
uk.finance.yahoo.com. In this case, RDSA.L assuming you want the LSE 
price. The suffix denotes which exchange you want prices from.
