uneditable transactions

Yes, the payment has been reconciled, but the problem relates to the fact that this a vendor invoice.  It dawned on me while driving that the solution was probably to unpost the bill, and doing so did solve the problem.

Is the transaction reconciled?  If so then select Actions > Reset Warnings and select the option to warn when editing a reconciled transaction.
